Policy Management System

PNG DataCo’s Policy management allows the business to establish a process of creating, communicating, and maintaining policies and procedures within our organization. An effective policy management system can mitigate risk in two ways. First, it makes policies more quickly accessible to direct care staff, guiding care and safety decisions.

HR ManagementHR management policy provides generalized guidance on the approach adopted by PNG DataCo, and therefore its employees, concerning various aspects of employment.
ProcurementPNG DataCo’s procurement policy lists the authorized suppliers to the company and processes that govern this workflow of procuring.
Financial ManagementFinancial management policy provides guidance on the procedures, systems and accounting policies that are prevalent in PNG DataCo. The policy contains information about the input, output, processing, control, and distribution of financial data.
Corporate GovernancePNG DataCo’s corporate governance policy ensures that the business is operated in a transparent, ethical manner, promoting good business practices. This policy is also formulated by the board and management and made available to all stakeholders.
Conflict of InterestThe purpose of the conflict of interest policy is to protect the business interest when it is contemplating entering into a transaction or arrangement that might benefit the private interest of an officer or stakeholder or might result in a possible excess benefit transaction.
FraudPNG DataCo having a fraud policy is a critical tool in communicating the business stance and processes in respect to fraud and how it will be dealt with. This policy raises awareness amongst staff that response plans have been devised, to deal with and minimize the damage caused by any fraudulent attack. By explicitly defining actions that constitute fraud, we ensure that all employees and third parties are aware of what is and is not acceptable.
Compliance & Risk ManagementPNG DataCo’s Compliance risk management is the process of understanding and managing compliance with laws and regulations and helping to better manage the risks associated with non-compliance.
Whistleblower‘Whistleblowing’ means the reporting by employees of suspected misconduct, illegal acts, or failure to act within the Council. The aim of this Policy is to encourage employees and others who have serious concerns about any aspect of the Council’s work to come forward and voice those concerns.
Digital Technology Use & ManagementFor the purpose of this policy, “digital technologies” are defined as being any networks, systems, software, or hardware including electronic devices and applications which allow a user to access, receive, view, record, store, communicate, copy or send any information such as text, images, audio, or video.
Liquidity & Finance ManagementPNG DataCo’s Liquidity & Finance management policy is meant to work in conjunction with the Board-approved Debt, Internal Bank, Investment, and other policies that impact financial risk management.
Sales & Customer ManagementPNG DataCo’s sales and customer management is a systematic process of developing, coordinating, monitoring the various decisions that have a direct bearing on the company’s sales and customer retention.
Asset ManagementPNG DataCo’s Asset management is the process of receiving, tagging, documenting, and eventually disposing of equipment. It is critically important to maintain up-to-date inventory and asset controls to ensure all equipment/machinery/peripheral locations and dispositions are well known.
Occupational Health & SafetyOccupational Safety and Health (OSH) policy entails a set of rules issued by management that mandates the adoption and use of appropriate practices, means, methods, operations or processes, and working conditions reasonably necessary to ensure safe and healthful employment.
Anti-Harassment & Anti-DiscriminationThis policy seeks to ensure that all staff feels safe, respected, and fully valued as they work at PNG DataCo. Through enforcement of this policy and training of staff, the business will address instances of discrimination or harassment between and against employees to prevent, correct, and discipline any and all behaviors that violate this policy.
QualityThe quality policy is a brief statement that aligns with the organization’s purpose and strategic direction provides a framework for quality objectives, and includes a commitment to meet applicable requirements (ISO 9001, customer, statutory or regulatory) as well as to continually improve.
