DataCo operates and maintains an extensive network of over 12,000km of fiber optic cable both internationally and locally. In addition, DataCo manages three tied data centers and 51 satellite infrastructures throughout Papua New Guinea (PNG). The company’s presence spans 67 out of the 96 districts in PNG, with 44 districts connected via fiber optic and 23 districts via satellite, achieving a 70% district connectivity rate across the country. This expansive network and infrastructure have significantly enhanced PNG’s telecommunications landscape, resulting in low latency, increased availability and accessibility, and notably reduced costs for wholesale telecommunications and digital services.

DataCo also has five (6) international Pops  (3 in Sydney, 1 in Guam, 1 in Hongkong and 1 in Jayapura) in four countries namely Australia, Guam, Hongkong and Indonesia where it sources peering services as well as IP Transit services form Tier1 Upstream internet services providers and content owners.
