Launch of Marianville Secondary School’s State-of-the-Art ICT Laboratory – The Komboi Digital Hub
It was with immense pride, deep humility, and heartfelt gratitude that PNG DataCo CEO, Mr. Paul Komboi, joined Marianville Secondary School Principal Sr. Freda, dedicated teachers, former Principal Sr. Relida, and the school’s talented students to officially launch the school’s new ICT Junior Lab, now proudly named the “Komboi Digital Hub”.
This milestone event was a true celebration of partnership, progress, and unwavering faith in the future of education in Papua New Guinea. We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the entire DataCo team for their outstanding dedication and commitment in bringing this project to fruition.
Through this significant investment, PNG DataCo has delivered a comprehensive, cutting-edge ICT infrastructure, including:
- A robust network with indoor and outdoor access points
- Secure servers and reliable power systems
- 128 new desktop computers
- 36 laptops
- 4 advanced interactive Idea Hub boards
Representing a total investment of over K423,000, this initiative is further strengthened by DataCo’s ongoing commitment to provide high-speed internet connectivity and dedicated technical support for the long term.
This upgrade empowers Marianville Secondary School’s students with world-class digital tools, fostering innovation, learning, and preparation for a technology-driven future.
